The Bravos gang is the scourge or savior of Austernell, depending on who you ask. As the divisions between the North and South cities grew, these masked men appeared in greater numbers every year, watching from the shadows and preying on anyone foolish enough to cross into their territory. But to the people of Downtown, the Bravos are the only answer to the Duke and the Captain’s wanton aggression. There is a man among them, they named the South Side Shadow, a villain in the North, but a hero in the South. Rumor has it, he seeks revenge against the Captain of the guard, not only for himself, but for all of Downtown, and only his closest friends know why. Although there is reason to believe the Captain knows his story as well. He is a deadly fighter, skilled and determined, but he has the eyes of a young and wounded soul. I know those eyes. They were mine when I was younger.
